Gorillas in the Mist

This last weekend a rare sighting was made of the the distinctive "Whiteley gorilla". This local silverback can be seen protecting the borders of his territory. Notice the primitive use of tools as he hangs deftly from the willow tree.

Whiteley to Brighton

On Tuesday we decided to head out on our bikes to Brighton. As you can see the sky was moody and we were very thankful for our warm gear. We explored the sea front as well as the boutiquey area called Laines which was full of novel shops offering everything from vegetarian shoes to gourmet burgers. We even caught sight of a rare chocolate chicken!

Martial Arts Weekend

This Saturday we woke up early to travel down to Bognor for a special martial arts training session. A variety of clubs with different skills ranging from Taekwondo, to Judo, Jujisu and sword fighting were invited.  On the day we could each choose which of the slection of seminars to take part in.
