Cute baby of the year award

Sam puts his cutest face on for the camera.

Was Sam awake in Mallorca?

Until recently it has been assumed that foetus' are not aware of the
world around their mother; however recent photographic evidence suggests foetus' can learn complex dance routines from a Spanish holiday 6 months before they were born. Child psychologists are perplexed and are blaming this on the "Strictly Come Dancing" craze that is sweeping the nation. Ole!

Batman faces a new threat

Following the recent demise the "Riddler" it seems his place has been
taken by the new "Wriggler". Little is known of this enigmatic nemesis of the caped crusader however it is thought he is able to induce signs of sleep deprivation in all around him.

no rib tickler

On our way back from Bredon we  decided to do a a quick run around Ikea Bristol.  Feeling peckish we popped in to Burger king for some tasty snacks.  Seeing the picture of the sumptious ribs we thought we would order them as a side dish.  With the benefit of hindsight I think we were a little foolish, but as you can see I think we may have something on the trade description act!

Plumbing

Our en-suite power shower finally died this weekend, so I nipped down to B&Q for a replacement.  As is always the case the new shower had quite different fittings to the old.  It was time for some serious plumbing.  I quickly drafted our friends Ron and Fiona to come and help out and we now have a lovely new shower as well as a hole in the wall (hidden inside a cupboard).

Tom Visits

Tom was invited to a wedding in the nearby village of Bishop's Waltham and so took the opportunity to stay with us.  he arrived early on Friday evening and we went stright out to sample the delights of the local Elm Tree pub.  On Sunday Morning Tom joined us for deckfast on Jim and Sarah's recently completed decking.

We thought it would be nice to sneak away for a weeks relaxation in the sun with nothing to do but drink beer, eat good food, perhaps read a book or two and enjoy the sea.  Here are a few snap shots of our time there.

Having stayed here when I was 3 we thought it would be nice to see if the Miramar hotel was still in business.  Well you can see for yourself, it is still there and thriving!
